The UFX7000A Series instruments provide Broadband Gaussiannoise with superior flatness. The output power can be attenuated up to 127 dBin 1 dB steps, and several connector types are available. In standby mode, theoutput RF switch is terminated into a 50-ohm load, while in the "on"state it is directed to the output connector. The UFX7000A Series flexiblearchitecture allows several options, including an internal combiner, 0.1 dBattenuation steps, and internal switches for up to 4 filter paths. The Noisecom UFX7000A broadband noise generator has a powerful singleboard computer with flexible architecture used to create complex custom noisesignals for advanced test systems. This versatile platform allows the user tomeet their most challenging design requirements. The standard RF configuration includes a broadband noise source and noisepath attenuator with a maximum attenuation range of 127 dB in 1 dB steps.Additional attenuation ranges, and step sizes are available. Optional filterscan be specified in any combination of low pass, high pass, band pass, or bandreject. Combined with advanced switching circuitry, the designer can createmany different path combinations. The signal output connectors can be locatedon the front, or rear panel to provide convenient customer access on the bench,or in a rack system.
