MolecularSieve
分子筛又称泡沸石或沸石，是一种结晶型的铝硅酸盐，其晶体结构中有规整而均匀的孔道，孔径为分子大小，它只允许直径比孔径小的分子进入，因此能将混合物中的分子按大小加以筛分，故称分子筛。分子筛按照其孔径大小分类，有3A型、4A型、5A型、10X型、13X型。4A为含Na的A型分子筛，孔径为0.4nm；若其中Na被K置换，孔径约为0.3nm，即为3A分子筛；如果其中1/3以上的Na被Ca2+置换，孔径约为0.5nm，即为5A分子筛。X型分子筛硅铝比不一样，其晶体结构不同，13X分子筛硅铝比为SiO2/AL2O3≈2.6-3.0，孔径为10A，可吸附临界直径大于3.64A小于10A的任何分子，凡3A、4A、5A型分子筛可吸附的分子，13X分子筛都能吸附。此外，13X分子筛又吸附较大临界直径的分了，如某些芳烃和支链烃。

分子筛应用非常广泛，例如，空气分离装置中气体的净化，H2O、CO2及碳氢化合物的脱除；天然气、液化石油气、液态烷烃类（丙烷，丁烷等）的脱水和脱硫（脱除 H2S 及硫醇等）；一般气体（如压缩空气、永久性气体）的深度干燥；氨合成气的干燥及净化；气雾剂推进剂的脱硫除臭；裂解气脱CO2；催化剂协载体；水和二氧化碳共吸附；水和硫化氢气体共吸附等；石油裂解气的干燥和净化；C2和C3馏分的干燥；乙烯、丙烯、丁烯、丁二烯、戊烷的干燥和净化；甲烷、乙烷和丙烷原料的脱水和净化；液态二氧化碳的净化；溶解乙炔气的干燥；水、空气、气体、极性类的液体（如甲醇、乙醇）和天然气的干燥和净化；制冷机的干燥；催化剂载体等。因此分子筛广泛应用于炼油、石油化工、化学工业、冶金、电子、国防工业等，同时在医药、轻工、农业、环保等诸多方面，也日益广泛地得到应用。
Molecularsieve also called zeolite, is a crystalline aluminum silicate. Its crystalstructure has neat and uniform channel, aperture around a molecular level,molecular sieve only allows smaller diameter than its aperture into it, so itcan sieve molecules according to their size in the mixture, so it calledmolecular sieve. According to molecular sieve aperture size, there are 3A, 4A,5A, 10X, 13X. 4A molecular sieve is Na-A molecular sieve, aperture 0.4nm; if Nareplaced by K, aperture 0.3nm, is 3A molecular sieve; if over 1/3 Na replacedby Ca2+, aperture 0.5nm, is 5A molecular sieve.
13Xmolecular sieve silicon aluminum ratio≈2.6-3.0 (SiO2/AL2O3≈2.6-3.0), aperture 10A, it can adsorb anymolecules which critical diameter is greater than 3.64A and less than 10A, aslong as the molecules can be adsorbed by 3A, 4A, 5A type molecular sieves, theyalso can be adsorbed by 13X molecular sieves. Furthermore, 13X molecular sievecan adsorb bigger critical diameter molecules, such as aromatic hydrocarbonsand branched chain hydrocarbons.
