Description:
This is a Mini-PCI adapter featured with steady stream of up to 300 Mbits/s wireless networking card providing a multimode (802.11a, 802.11b, 11g and compliant with 11n Draft 2.0) connectivity for enterprise and whole home wireless LAN access.
The Mini-PCI Adapter uses DSSS, OFDM and advanced MIMO multiplexing technology to multiply the effective data rate and design to provide more stable connection and wider coverage than legacy 802.11 products. This gives a very robust radio channel, which is made even better by the excellent receiver sensitivity and delay spread robustness.
Three transmitters and three receivers allow data rates supporting >100 Mbps real-world throughput using high speed spatial multiplexing modes and offer dramatic performance improvements with 2 bandwidth technology (20/40MHz).
XSPAN technology delivers superior performance and robust wireless connectivity throughout a home or office, enabling next-generation Wi-Fi devices to support HD video, audio streaming, on-line game and VoIP simultaneously on a single network.
A firmware-based architecture is capable of supporting the latest industry standards in the security and quality of service (QoS), as the draft 802.11i and 802.11e (WMMTM) standards, respectively.
The Mini-PCI Card is complemented by drivers and networking tools for Linux operating system. Emitech provides extensive technical documentation on integration issues such as antenna design, drivers, and management software.
