　Spandex译名"斯潘德克斯"，是一种弹性纤维，学名聚氨酯纤维(Polyurethane)，简写(PU)。中国大陆称为

　　"氨纶"，它具有高度弹性，能够拉长6～7倍，但随张力的消失能迅速恢复到初始状态，其分子结构为一个像链状的、柔软及可伸长性的聚氨基甲酸酯，通过与硬链段连接在一起而增强其特性。弹性纤维分为两类：一类为聚酯链类；一为聚醚链类。聚酯类弹性纤维抗氧化、抗油性较强；聚醚类弹性纤维防霉性，抗洗涤剂较好。

　　自从1958年DUPONT把Spandex引入商业用途，并注册商标为(LYCRA)，市场音译为[莱卡]，很多人已把"莱卡"作为Spandex之名称。

   氨纶的应用

　　氨纶可用于为满足舒适性要求需要可以拉伸的服装。如：

　　氨纶用在一般衣服上的比率较小。在北美，用在男性衣服上很少，用在女性衣服上较多。因为女性的衣服都要求比较贴身。在使用时都会大量加入其他纤维如棉、聚酯混纺，以将光泽降低到最小程度。

Yoga pants are one of the key components of any wardrobe, so this is one area to pay special attention to. There are pants that are cut at different lengths, including Capri lengths or those that are too long. Some yoga practitioners enjoy covering their entire length of leg with flowing fabric, while others will prefer bicycle shorts. The waistband is another issue to pay attention to, as this could be wide or narrow. There is no pair of yoga pants that will be the best for all practitioners, so you might want to try several styles until you find the best fit your own personal needs.

Another component of yoga clothing to think about is the top that you will wear. They have to fit, but also stay in place even when you are contorted into many different positions, often leaning forward. Be sure to choose a top that is going to stay snug on your body without being too restrictive. Of course, the style of your clothing is also important, though not as important as the fit and comfort factor. You can choose from a wide array of different colours, to suit your mood and enhance your workout.
